再见“一般过去时”
一般过去时表示过去某个时间发生的动作或存在的状态。
含有be动词的一般过去时
主语+be(was,were)+其他
My sister was a pupil last year.
去年我妹妹是一名小学生。
They were young then.
那时他们年轻。
含有实义动词的一般过去时
主语+动词过去式+其他
They cleaned the room last weekend.
上周末他们打扫房间。
He watched TV yesterday.
昨天他看电视了。

序数词
英语数词分为两大类
基数词和序数词。
基数词:指表示数目的数词。
序数词:表示顺序的词称为序数词。
first第一
second第二

tenth第十
1st-first 2nd-second 3rd-third 4th-fourth 5th-fifth
6th-sixth 7th-seventh 8th-eighth 9th-ninth 10th-tenth
从第一至第十,其中特殊序数词形式:
one-first two-second
three-third five-fifth
eight-eighth nine-ninth
第一至第十的其他序数词都是由其相对应的基数词后面添加“th”构成。
例如:
four-fourth
six-sixth
seven-seventh
ten-tenth
注意:序数词在使用时,通常前面要加定冠词the。
序数词的句法功能:
序数词在句中可作主语、宾语、定语和表语。
The second is what I really need.
第二个是我真正需要的。(作主语)
He chose the second.
他挑选了第二个(作宾语)
We are to carry out the first plan.
我们将执行第一个计划。(作定语)
She is the second in our class.
在我们班她是第二名。(作表语)
