当朋友问起你爸爸妈妈或某人过去从事的职业时，下面的句型可以帮你轻松搞定：
He/She/单个人+was a/an+职业名词（+过去时间）
He was a cook ten years ago.
She was a doctor five years ago.
My father was a driver two years ago.

如何回答某人是否做过某事
当你想知道别人是否做过某事时，可以用下面的句型：
Did+主语+动词原形+其他？
Yes，主语+did./No，主语+didn't.
Did you watch TV yesterday?
Yes,I did.
Did she visit her grandma last night?
No,she didn't.
Amy:Is your grandpa?
Lingling:Yes,It is.He was a driver.
Amy:Is this your grandpa?
Lingling:Yes,it is.He was a driver.

一般过去时基本结构
1.肯定句：主语+动词过去式+其他
I watched TV last night.
2.否定句：①was/were+not
There weren't any buses.
②在行为动词前加didn't，同时还原行为动词。
I didn't know you were so busy.
3.一般疑问句：Did+主语+动词原形+其他？
Did you do your homework?
动词过去式的规则变化：
1.直接加ed：work-worked
My mother worked hard.我妈妈努力工作。
2.以e结尾的单词，直接加d：live-lived
We lived in a small house.
3.以辅音字母+y结尾的，变y为i加ed：
study-studied
4.以元音+y结尾的，直接加ed：
enioy-enjoyed
We enjoyed the TV programme.
5.以重读闭音节结尾的，双写最后的辅音字母+ed：
stop-stopped
The bus stopped at the station.
