Life was very different in China many years ago.
在很多年前的中国，生活大不相同。
表示过去的go
any表示“一些，一点，若干”，常用于疑问句和否定句中；some“一些”，常用于肯定句
中。在含有some的肯定句中变为否定句或一般疑问句时，常把some变为any。
ago在句中不能单独使用，它前面必须有表示时间的词：
I saw him four days ago.
我四天前见过他。
Lingling visited her grandpa two weeks ago.
玲玲两个星期前看过她的爷爷。

当表达“某人住在某地某地”时，可以用下面的句型：
主语+lived in+地点（+过去时间）
We lived in a small house two years ago.
两年前我们住在一座小房子里。
She lived in Beijing in the past.
过去她住在北京。
We didn't have enough food.
There weren't many buses.
没有这么多的公交车。

表示现在“有”或“没有”
There is/are...
There isn't/aren't....
肯定句：
There was/were+物（+过去时间）
There was a pen.
（过去）有一支钢笔。
There were some pens yesterday.
昨天有一些钢笔。
否定句：
There wasn't/weren't+物（+过去时间）
There wasn't a pen.
（过去）没有一支钢笔。
There weren't any pens yesterday.
昨天没有钢笔。
There weren't any televisions.
any任何，一些
Is there any water in the bottle?
瓶子里有些水吗？
拓展：any用于否定句，疑问句中表示“任何，一些”。
some用于肯定句中。
There are some buses.
有一些公交车。
There aren't any buses.
没有任何公交车。

有一些公交车吗？
