1、usually,always,often等通常和一般现在时连用表示现在经常或反复发生的动作。

2、always与进行时连用时并不强调动作正在进行而是表示赞叹、厌烦等情绪。
He is always thinking of others.
他总是想着别人。
She is always asking silly questions.
她老是问些愚蠢的问题。
3、对频度副词提问时用how often.
I write to my brother sometimes.
有时我给哥哥写信。

你多久给你哥哥写信?
4、sometimes也可放在句首、句中或句末；often也可放在句末。

重点解析
在一般现在时的肯定句中，当主语是第三人称单数时，谓语动词也要用第三人称单数形式。
动词第三人称单数的变化规则如下：
1）一般情况下，在词尾加-s。
如：play-plays

2）以s,x,sh,ch结尾的动词，在词尾加-es。
如：watch-watches
She watches TV in the evening.
她在晚上看电视。
3）以辅音字母加y结尾的重读闭音节动词，要把y变i，再加-es,
