Healthy living
I was not feeling very well so the doctor checked my heart and said I needed more exercise.I have never been very active,and I do not like sports.I have always wanted a pet,so my parents gave me a dog for my birthday.

注意join和join in的区别：
join多指加入某一个组织或某些人，成为其中一员。
join in指参加活动，在口语中可与take part in通用。

(1)当句子的主语和动词不定式的主语不是同一主语时，加for sb.即too...for sb. to do sth.
"对某人来说太...以至于不能..."
This box is too heavy for me to carry.
(2)句子主语和不定式的宾语相同时，则宾语不能重复，必须省掉。
The water is too hot to drink.
(3)too...to结构与so...that的否定句可以互换
The water is so hot that I can't drink it.
=The water is too hot to drink.
enough to结构可与so...that结构互换
The boy is strong enough to carry the bag.
=The boy is so strong that he can carry the bag.
(4)too...to结构可与enough to结构互相转换，不过要改为反义的形容词。如果一种肯定形式为肯定，另一种形式为否定，反之也一样。
The box is too small to hold these things.
=The box isn't big enough to hold these things.
