Language points
1. The Sun is about 1,300,000 times larger than the Earth.
英语中常用的表达倍数的句型有：
1、A+be+倍数+as+计量形容词原级+as+B.
2、A+be+倍数+计量形容词比较级+than+B.
e.g. This bridge is there times longer than that one.
这座桥是那座桥的三倍长。
This bridge is three times as long as that one.
这座桥是那座桥的三倍长。
2. stop doing sth. “停止做某事”，doing是stop的宾浯，是要停止的动作；
stop to do sth. “停下来开始做某事”，to do是stop的状语，表示目的，是要开始做的事情。
e.g.:
1. The two girls stopped talking when they saw me.
那两个女孩一见到我就停止了讲话。
2. The two girls stopped to talk to me when they saw me.
这两个女孩一看到我就停下来和我讲话。
3. Fish sleep with their eyes open.
鱼睁着眼睡觉。
1）“with+名词+形容词/介词短语”在句中作状语。如：
He likes to sleep with window open.
He came into the room with a book in his hand.
2）fish既可作可数名词也可作不可数名词。
·1、fish用作可数名词指“鱼的条数”时单数和复数形式相同（two fish两条鱼）；
·2、指“鱼的种类”时复数形式才为fishes（two fishes两种鱼）；
·3、fish用作不可数名词时无复数形式，应作“鱼肉”解（Help yourself to some fish. 随便吃些鱼。）；
·4、fish用作动词时，它的含义又与“钓（捕）鱼”有关（go fishing 去钓鱼）。
