Present Continuous Tense
表示现在正在进行的动作。
--What are you doing now?
--We are having our English class.
表示现阶段正在进行着的动作。
I am writing an English story.
They are studying in No.1 Middle School.
一、现在进行时基本结构
主语 + be动词 + 动词的现在分词
陈述句
I am
You/We/They are eating.
He/She/It is
一般疑问句
Am I
Are you/We/They eating?
Is he/she/it
肯定回答
I am.
Yes, you/We/They are.
he/she/it is.
否定回答
I am not.
No, you/We/They are not/aren't.
he/she/it is not/isn't.

语法小贴士：现在进行时的标志词
现在进行时的标志性时间状语：at present，at the moment，now等。
一些特定语境的词或短语：look，listen，be quiet，it's six o'clock，where is sb等。

Work out the rule!
We use 'am'+'-ing' with the pronoun I.
We use 'are'+'-ing' with the pronoun you, we and they.
We use 'is'+'-ing' with the pronoun he, she and it.

Sum up(总结)
现在进行时由be（am/is/are）+动词-ing形式构成的。
肯定句结构：主语+be+动词-ing形式+其他。
否定句结构：主语+be(not)+动词-ing形式+其他。
一般疑问句结构和回答：Be+主语+动词-ing形式+其他？Yes，主语+be。No，主语+be(not)。
动词的现在分词
大多数动词+ing
reading, drinking, eating, looking
以不发音的e结尾的动词，去e+ing
writing, making, dancing, taking
以一个元音和一个辅音结尾的短动词要双写结尾的辅音字母+ing

以ie结尾的动词，去ie+y+ing
