Grammar A
Using adjectives before nouns
a bright star         lovely children
a close relative      an old umbrella
a funny snowwan       a warm umbrella
heavy rain            a windy day

Things to remember
Sometimes we form an adjective like this:
Wind(n.)→_______(adj.)         cloud(n.)______(adj.)
rain(n.)→_______(adj.)         snow(n.)→_______(adj.)    
But note the spelling change with:
sun(n.)→_______(adj.)          fog(n.)→______(adj.)
Work out the rule
Sometimes we can turn a _______ into an _____ by adding-y to the word.
Look at the pictures.Complete the sentences with words from the box.

The Sun is shining brightly,It is a sunny day.

Grammar B
Using adjectives after the verb to be
Winter is cold.
Sometimes it is snowy.
WInter clothes are warm.
I'm not.It will still be sunny tomorrow.

Adjectives with It is and to +a verb
We can use the adjectives below with It is and to followed by a verb.
It is nice to eat ice cream in the park.
It is +adj.+to do sth.
dangerous      It is dangerous to drive too fast.
exciting       It is exciting to watch this film.
good           It is good to meet an old friend.
important      It is hard to answer these difficult questions.

Try to use these adjectives to make a sentence with the above structure.
