The old tortoise and the little bird
老乌龟和小鸟
An old tortoise lives by a small pond.It is nice and quiet.
一只老乌龟住在一个小池塘边。那里很漂亮，很安静。
He likes the pond very much.It's my pond.he says.
他很喜欢这个池塘。“这是我的池塘。”他说。
One day,a little bird comes.She likes the pond too.and she comes every day.
有一天，一只小鸟飞来了。他也很喜欢这个池塘。她每天都来。
She always has a bath in the pond and sings some songs.
她总是在池塘里洗个澡，再唱几首歌。
The old tortoise says,'Are you singing or crying'It's too loud.I don't like it.
老乌龟说：“你是在唱歌还是在叫喊？”声音太响了，我不喜欢。
'I'm sorry.'the little bird says and flies away.
“对不起。”小鸟说完就飞走了。
The pond is quite again.
池塘又变得安静了。
'It's my pond now,'the old tortoise thinks.
“现在这是我的池塘”老乌龟想。
He drinks some water,and then has a nap.He is happy.
他喝了一些水，然后小睡了一会。他很高兴。
But a week later,he is unhappy again.'It's too quite,'he says.
但是过了一个星期，他又不高兴了。“这里太安静了。”他说。
