dear亲爱的
“dear”一词常在正式的书信中使用称呼对方，比如
“Dear Mr.Smith，”这里的“dear”一词一般翻译
成“尊敬的”或者“尊贵的”。如果不知对方的名称，
可以用“Dear Sir”或“Dear Madam”开头，可以翻
译成“尊敬的先生”或“尊敬的女生”，或者直接翻
译成“敬启者”。
如今日常朋友间的EMAIL往来中也有使用“dear”一词
称呼的，在信函或话语开头，用于称呼前表示客套（通
常大写）。如：Dear friend亲爱的朋友。
“dear”还有一个用途是表示“惊叹”，如“OH，dear！”、
“Dear！”，一般可以翻译成“哎呀，天哪！”
“dear”的另外一个意思是“贵”（表示价钱）。比如
“How much？”20dollars？that's dear.意思是说：“多少
钱？20块？够贵的。”

well在谈论健康时，可以做形容词，指人的身体好，健康的。

London Eye伦敦眼
伦敦眼（The London Eye），或又称为千禧之轮（Millennium Wheel）
是世界上首座、也曾经是世界上最大的观景摩天轮。仅次于南昌之星与
新加坡观景轮。它于1999年年底开幕，总高度135米（443英尺），竖立
于伦敦泰晤士河南畔的兰贝斯区，面向坐拥国会大楼与大本钟的西敏市。
Big Ben大本钟
大本钟（Big Ben），英国国会会议厅附属的钟楼，伦敦著名的古钟（
即威斯敏斯特宫报时钟）。建于1859年。安装在西敏寺桥北议会大厦
东侧高95米的钟楼上，钟楼四面的圆形钟盘，直径为6.7米，是伦敦的
传统地标。2012年6月26日，英国宣布将把伦敦著名地标“大本钟”的
钟楼改名为“伊丽莎白塔”。
Tower Bridge伦敦塔桥
伦敦塔桥（英文名：Tower Bridge），伦敦塔桥是从英国伦敦泰晤士河
口算起的第一座桥（泰晤士河上共建桥15座），也是伦敦的象征，有“
伦敦正门”之称。该桥始建于1886年，1894年6月30日对公众开放，将
伦敦南北区连接成整体。
Hyde Park海德公园
海德公园（HYDE PARK）是伦敦最知名的公园。海德公园是英国最大的皇家
公园。位于伦敦市中心的威斯敏斯特教堂（Westminster Abbey，即西敏寺）
地区，占地360多英亩，原属威斯敏斯特教堂产业。十八世纪前这里是英王
的狩鹿场。现在也是人们举行各种政治集会和其他群众活动的场所，有著名
的“演讲者之角”（Speakers' Corner）。
Buckingham Palace白金汉宫
白金汉宫（Buckingham Palace）位于英国首都伦敦，是英国的皇家居所和
女王办公地。1837年，维多利亚女王即位后，白金汉宫成为王宫，女王召见
首相、大臣，接待，举行国家庆典和宴请外宾及其他重要活动，均在此举行。
