Online tours
“网络旅游”是兴起于20世纪末，时髦于21世纪的一个旅游新概念。目前国内所谓的网络旅游，是指网络公司在投资商的支持下，在互联网上建立的一系列专门服务于旅游者的综合网站，当旅游者通过访问这些旅游网站，收集全国各地的旅游信息，制订自己出游的旅游线路，预订各种交通票证、住宿房位、娱乐项目，并在网站的帮助下完成“吃、住、行、游、购、娱”的旅游活动时，一次真正意义上的“网络旅游”便告诞生了。“网络旅游”简言之是一种凭借互联网技术为核心的电子商务网，该网是旅游服务商与旅游消费者之间交流沟通的渠道和中介。目前在中国有“携程旅行网站”、“华夏旅游网”、“游皮网”等。
然而这并不能称为真正意思上的网络旅游，只是为游客提供“机票+酒店”的预订服务，而这种网络旅游服务仅仅是旅游网站资讯服务的升级。

纽约，美国最大的城市。
Background information
纽约别称“大苹果”。关于此名的由来有好几个版本，其中广为流传的一个是源自20世纪初流行于美国爵士乐手中的一句歌词：“树上有这么多苹果，但当你选中了纽约市，你就选中了最大的苹果。”后来the Big Apple成了纽约市的代名词，意指这是一个充满机遇的城市。
Wall Street
华尔街是纽约市曼哈顿区南部一条大街的名字。现该词已超越这条街道本身，成为附近区域的代称，亦可指整个美国经济中具有影响力的金融市场和金融机构。
Times Square
时代广场是纽约市曼哈顿区最繁华的街区，以一年一度的“彩灯球下降”活动而闻名。
Central Park

Broadway

Here we are in "the Big Apple" — New York, the biggest city in the USA.
Wall Street, the world-famous trade centre, is here at the southern end of Manhattan Island. There are many big companies and international banks here.
Further on is Times Square. Every year, thousands of people gather here on New Year's Eve. It's exciting to see the huge glass ball falling through the darkness!
In the centre of the island is Centre Park. With several lakes, hill and a large green lawn, it's a good place to relax after a hard day's work.
When you visit New York, don't miss Broadway. It has been famous for its theatres since the early twentieth century. Have you ever heard of the song "Memory"? It comes from the famous Broadway musical Cats.
