方位表达方式
我们学过了许多表示方位的介词和短语，让我们一起来总结一下：
1.on the left/right   在左边/右边
In Britain cars drive on the left,but in China on the right.
在英国，汽车靠左侧行驶，但在中国汽车靠右侧行驶。
2.next to 意为“靠近，与...紧挨着”，其近义词为near,意为“不远的，接近的”，指空间或时间上。如:
Her home is next to her school.
她家靠近她的学校。
3.opposite  在..对面，与...相对
Can you see the shop opposite the railway station?
你能看到火车站对面的商店吗？
4.on the corner of   在...拐角处
The public phone is on the corner of the street.
公用电话在这条街的拐角处。
5.between...and    在...之间
There is a supermarket between the school and the hospital.
在学校或医院之间有一家超市。
6.on指两个物体表面接触，一个在另一个上面；ove表示一物体的位置高于另一物体，在其正上方，其反义词是under 如：
Your hat is on the bed.
你的帽子在床上。
There's a bridge over the river.
河上有座桥。

The Winter Palace,in St Petersburg,Russia,was from 1732 to 1917,the official residence of the Russian Tsars.Situated between the Palace Embankment and the Palace Square.
Now it's part of the Hermitage Museum,and everyone can go and see the paintings and learn about Russian history.Opposite the museum,on the other side of the River Neva,is St Peter's Church.You can walk across the river over Trinity Bridge.
Winter palace,the Forbidden City,the British museum,Louvre and New York's metropolitan museum of art are together called the world's five museums.
