名词性物主代词的用法
表示所有关系的代词叫物主代词,也可叫作代词所有格。可分为两种:名词性物主代词和形容词性物主代词。请看下面表格:

名词性物主代词起名词的作用。为了避免重复使用名词,我们经常用名词性物主代词来代替“形容词性物主代词+名词”的形式。如:
My pen is missing.Mary I borrow yours(=your pen)?
-Is this comb yours?
-No,it's hers.

A friend of mine came to see me yesterday.
1.用法
1.形容性物主代词用来修饰名词,起形容词的作用,不能单独使用。如:
My parents are both teachers.
我的父母都是老师。
2.名词性物主代词可以单独使用,相当于“形容词性物主代词+名词”,后面不跟名词。如:
May I use your ruler?I have lost mine.
=May I use your ruler?I have lost my ruler.
另外,名词性物主代词还可以用在"n.+of+名词性物主代词“结构中,表示”某人的....“如:
The shoes of hers are very nice.
她的鞋子很漂亮。
Ⅱ.所作成分:
1.形容词性物主代词只能作定语。如:
There is something wrong with his computer.
他的电脑出问题了。
They love their work in the shop.
他们喜欢在商店的工作。
2.名词性物主代词可以作主语、宾语和表语。如:
Your book is interesting,but mine is more interesting.(作主语)
你的书很有趣,但是我的更有趣。
These letters are his. (作表语)
这些是他的信。
I lost my pen this morning.May I borrow yours? (作宾语 )
我今天早晨丢了我的钢笔,我能借用一下你的吗?
名词所有格的用法
英语中的名词所有格表示一种所属关系,'s所有格多用于生命的名词。
构成:
①在单数名词的末尾加's 构成名词的所有格,表示”....的"
Tony's mother 托尼的妈妈
Tom's pen 汤姆的钢笔
②在以-s或-es 结尾的复数名词后只需加'.
the girls' bags 女孩们的书包
③在不以-s或-es 结尾的复数名词后,加's构成所有格。
Women's Day 妇女节
④表示时间、距离的名词所有格与有生命的名词所有格构成方法相同。

注意
①可用名词所有格表示地点。

②如果并列名词各自所拥有某物,每个词后都加's;若表示两人共同拥有的物品,在最后一个名词后加's.
