go to school 表示“去上学”，go to work表示“去上班”，go to bed 表示“去睡觉”。如：

2.Lessons start at nine o'clock
start 作及物动词时，意为“开始；着手”，后面可直接接名词或代词作宾语；start 也常用于“ start to do sth."或” start doing sth."结构中，意为“开始做某事。”如：
I start my work at nine o'clock every day.
我每天九点开始工作。

and 的用法
and 意为“和，又，而”，属并列连词，连接并列的单词、词组、短语或句子，起承上启下的作用。所连接的词语或句子属于并列关系。用在句子开头的时候，一般不译出来。如：
Tom and David are in the same class.
