1.What do you imagine will be your future occupation?
1)工作、职业
Please state your name,address,and occupation.
I hope that teaching will be my future occupation.
2)业余活动，消遣
Fishing is a peaceful occupation.
3)占领，占有
She was born in France during the German occupation.
4）do you imagine在此句中作插入语，类似的结构还有do you think,do you believe,do you sappose do you say等
What do you think I can gie you?
How do you suppose we can get there?
疑问语序在插入语部分体现，主体结构用陈述语序。
2.Now discuss in pairs how you would feef if you were offered a job on a fanous newspaper.
这里if 引导虚拟条件句，表示与将来的事实相反。虚拟语气是一种特殊的谓语动词开式；用来表示一种假设、愿望、建议、命令、可能等。
offer 1）拿给；给予
offer sb.sth/offer sth to sb.
The young man offered his seat to the old man.
The young man offered the old man his seat.
2)提出；表示
offer to do sth 主动提出做某事
The boy offered to pay for the desk he had broke.
3）出售；出价
offer sth for (money)以多少钱出售某物
offer sb (money)for sth/to buy sth
向某人出价购买某物。
The next morning we offered our boat for only 6dollars.
They offered him3,000yuan to buy the laptop.
They offered him 3,000yuan for the laptop.

他同新上司胡新的讨论对他的记者生涯必将产生强烈影响。
be to +动词原形，这里表示将来的时态，有注定的意味。
He is never to see his wife again.
His continuous effort is to make him a successful man.
be to+动词原形可以表示一咱责任，需要，警告或命令的语气。
You are to be back before 10pm。
I am to inform you that your wife was killed in the accident.
be to +动词原形也可以表示一种不会改变的安排或意向。
They are to be married next month.

be eager for sth(eg.success)渴望....很想....
be eager to do sth 渴望做某事
be eager that clause
