1.kiss sb. on the cheek 亲吻某人的面额
The mother kissed her child on the cheek and said good-night.
母亲亲吻了孩子的脸颊,然后道了声晚安。
vt.+sb.in/on/by+the+身体部位
take/pull/grasp/seize/catch/hold/lead sb. by the ear/nose/hand/arm/sleeve
hit/strike/touch/pat sb. in the face/eyestomach/side/chest/hit/strike/touch/pat sb.on the head/shoulder/nose/neck/back
2.Not all cultures greet each other the same way,nor are they comfortable touching strangers or being too close or too far away.
不是所有人都是以相同的方式来互知致问候的。触摸陌生人、距离太近或者太远并不都会使人感到舒服。
1)not 与all,both,every,each及含every 的合成词连用时,无论not 位于这些词的前面还是后面,都构成部分否定,意为“并非所有的...都...”
表示全部否定,要用none,neither,no one,nothing或no等来表示或借用never,not...at all 来进行全部否定。
I agree with most of what you said,but I don't agree with everything.
2)not...nor...既不...也不...
They do not shake hands with women,nor are they likely to kiss women publicly.
他们既不与妇女握手,也不在公共场合亲吻他们。
3)nor 放在句首,该句子应用部分倒装语序,即把be 东西、助动词或情态动词放在主语前面。
Not a single word did he say at the meeting last night.
昨天在会上他一句话也没说。
Never has he been to China.
他从来没有来过中国。
2.In the same way that people communicate with spoken language,they also express their feelings using unspoken"language"through keeping physical distance,actions or posture.
(1)that 引导的是方式定语从句。
The way that/in which/或不用关联词
(2)using 引导的是状语,v-ing做状语。
express vt.(用语言,神色,动作等)表达,表示(感情,意见)
express sth.(to sb.)
The guests...their thanks before leaving.

express oneself (清楚地)表达自己的意思
他仍然不能用英语表达自己的意思。

likely/probable/possible 的区别
三者都可以表示“可能”
possible 强调客观上有可能性,但也常常暗示“实际上希望很少”。It is possible for sb. to do sth.或It is possible+that 从句。作表语时不能用人作主语。
probable 主要用来指有根据,合情理、值得相信的事情,带有“大概,很可能”的意味,语气较possible 强。It is probable+that 从句。作表语时不用人或不定式作主语。
likely 侧重从表面看,某物肯有可能发生,与probable 意思相近。即可用人也可用物作主语。It is likely +that 从句.或sb./sth be likely to do sth.不能说It is likely for sb. to do sth.
翻译下列句子:
他们很可能产生了误会,而且在这个问题上也不会达成一致。
(likely to;misunderstand;agreement)
They are likely to misunderstand each other,and can't reach an agreement about the matter.
4.In general,though,studying...avoid difficulties...

1)adj.普通的,全面的
A matter of ..concern/interest 普遍(公众)关心、感兴趣的事情

2)总的,整体的
