require vt.需求，要求
后面可以跟名词、代词做宾语动词不定式的复合结构、动词ing形式和宾语从句（从句中谓语动词用虚拟语气should+do,should可以省略）
This suggestion requires careful thought.
The teacher requires (us to get there)within 10 minutes.
The floor requires (cleaning).
His health requires that he (should) go to bed early.

intend vt.计划，打算
常用于以下几个结构中：
*intend sb to do sth 打算让某人做某事
*intend to do/doing sth 打算做某事
*be intended to do sth/for sth 是用来...
intend 后跟宾语从句时，从句中谓语动词使用should+do 虚拟形式，should 可以省略
*had intened to do sth=intended to have done sth本打算做
We intened him (to set out) at once.
I intended that he (do)it at once.
The book(is itended for )beginners.
这本书专为初学者而编。

*hit 表示“突然想起”，主语往往指物，宾语指人
A good idea hit me when I woke up this morning.
*hit 表示达到、碰到、猜中  You've hit it.你猜中了。
*hit 使遭受（自然灾害损失，痛苦）
An earthquake hit the city.
*hit 打，碰撞 hit sb on the head 打某人的头
*hit 作名词时，表示“轰动或风行一时的人或物”

本句是强调句型，强调的是句子中的主语部分。它的基本结构是it be+被强调部分+that/who+其它，可以用来强调除谓语动词之外的任何句子成分。学习该句型时要注意其本身的变化，以及强调句型的特殊问句形式，作宾语从句时的语序问题和被强调部分后跟定语从句的情况。
